Elizabeth Hassard is the Registered Manager at Meadowside Residential Care Home and is responsible for the overall care and management of all the residents and staff.

Elizabeth trained as a nurse at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London in the late 1980s. Over a number of years she helped her parents manage their family-run residential care home, which they operated for more than 35 years. Elizabeth has also worked in Occupational Health, initially as a Nurse, and later as a Consultant Adviser. She has extensive experience in the food industry, finance sector and, more recently, in private healthcare.

Elizabeth was given a Nightingale Award for high standards of achievement in nursing care at St. Thomas’ and has since achieved a BSc in Health Service Management.

Elizabeth is also married with three grown up children – all of whom have spend time at the care home as part of our family-run ethos.
