There are 15 members of staff at Meadowside overall – an unusually high number to ensure that we meet all our residents’ needs. The staffing structure consists of the following: Elizabeth as the Registered Manager; a Care Manager; two Care Seniors; a House Keeper as well as all the Care Assistants.
All our staff attend mandatory training in the following key areas: Health and Safety, Infection Control, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Fire Awareness, Medicine Awareness, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, Mental Health Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty, and First Aid. These qualifications are updated annually. Meadowside actively encourages all staff to further their professional development through training, and many of our staff have achieved NVQ levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.
